Sarah AndrewsBiography Sarah Andrews is the Director of Youth Engagement from February of 2025 to present at St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. She is a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church since November of 2023. Sarah comes from Easton, Pennsylvania, which has an impressive history in the founding of our country, from being one of the first 3 cities to publicly read the Declaration of Independence, to George Washington launching the Northern Campaign from Easton. It is also the home of the famous Crayola Crayons. If you ever have a chance to visit Easton, she encourages you to swing by the Crayola Factory for a fun time! Sarah is proud to have roots there but is glad to say her home is now in Western Pennsylvania with a rich history of its own as well and she hopes she can add to the many things this little slice of heaven called Zelienople is known for.
Her path has been shaped by many experiences, both difficult and straightforward, that she didn’t realize would prepare her for the purpose God had for her life. And one of those callings would be youth ministry. Did Sarah think that was why God called her to Zelienople? Nope, not a thought in her mind. But God quickly reminded her that His plans were going to be established for the good of His kingdom, the good of Sarah, and to bring Him the glory due His name. Sarah loves to bring her energy, creativity, and go-getter attitude to the youth around her that easily match her own. “They are a joy to me. They keep me feeling young and remind me that no matter how young or old, we never stop being children. I not only have the privilege of being their teacher and big sister in Christ but also learning from them how to better receive the kingdom of God like a child (Mark 10:15).” Sarah lives in Zelienople, Pennsylvania with her husband, Derek, and daughter Amelia. She has a son, Dominick, who lives in Evans City with his wife, Elana. |
