Pam NorthBiographyPam North is a life-long resident of Zelienople and a 1971 graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, Pa. She received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. in 1975 and later earned a Master's Equivalency in Music Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
She taught elementary music and chorus at Seneca Valley until she retired in 2012. Pam has been the Director of Volunteer Ministries at St. Peter's since February 2013, a position that oversees not only the service and worship ministries there, but also involves outreach to the elderly and shut-in members of the church. She was also the Director of Music at St. Peter's, with the specific responsibility of directing the senior choir, for more than 25 years. She has served as the children's choir director in the past, and currently plays in the Ding-a-Lings handbell choir as well as participating in other musical endeavors both in the church and the community, such as serving in the past as the director of the Zelienople-Harmony Community Chorus and being one of the founding and current members of the Harmony-Zelienople Community Band. In addition to loving almost anything that has to do with music, Pam loves dogs and is an avid walker, teaming up with her 12 year old wheaten terrier Emme. As a Christian, her greatest goal has been to serve her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ with a thankful servant's heart, and she is most grateful to having been called to do that at St. Peter's and beyond! |
