Aubrey Rader

Biography

​Aubrey has been a member of St. Peter’s since 2012 and has always felt called to positive impact children and youth. She quickly got involved with the youth of the church and has loved seeing the kids grow up and mature in their relationship with Jesus. After 5 years of serving STP’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, and TNT, she felt called to the Director of Youth Ministries position. Prior to this, she worked as a Student Employment Specialist at Butler County Community College and as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Slippery Rock University. Aubrey earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (English) in 2012 and her Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education in 2014, both from SRU.

In early 2021, Aubrey accepted a fulltime postion at Slippery Rock University, stepping down from the role of Youth Director.  In recent months, she has stepped back in to assist as the interim Youth Director.  She mainly works with the Senior Youth Group and Senior High Sunday school class.
 
Aubrey lives in Zelienople with her husband, Josh, and three kids, Arabella, Kennedy, and Liam. In her free time, she loves running, camping, and reading!
